Men's Church League Softball
Some of you have been part of our Haven Church Men's Softball in the past. Others are hearing about it for the first time. It is a great way to meet other families and have fun on the ball field. If you are a wife of someone that might enjoy this, then please pass this along to them!
This is a low stress church league where you compete against other churches throughout the summer on Monday evenings.
The games take place at either Carson Park or Stein/Bollinger Fields in the evenings.
The league costs $500 per team. We ask that you contribute $20-$40 for a jersey and to cover our league fee.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Junior Sports Camp
Haven Church is a supporter of our local chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Our students are encouraged to participate in their activities and we are confident that they will grow closer to Jesus through their experience!
Haven staff (Jordan Van Proosdy) will be giving a message and helping with the camp.
Students going into 2nd through 7th grade are encouraged to sign up as a camper.
Students going into 8th through college are encouraged to sign up as a huddle leader.

Vacation Bible School
We are excited to offer Vacation Bible School again this summer! Your kids, neighbors, friends and grandkids will love spending their week with us at Haven Church! All 4K through 5th grade children (2024/25 school year) are welcome to attend.

Listen and learn from local students and Christian leaders. Lots of fun and impactful stories!
Sit together, look for Haven sign! Consider debriefing together as a group at someone’s home or restaurant. Otherwise, you can be picked up at 8:30pm from Altoona High School.

Prepare a Warm Meal (Beacon House)
Haven Church loves serving others in the Eau Claire community. We would like to support the non-profit Beacon House. Beacon House helps families by providing a short-term place to stay and a warm meal. They are able to house 4-6 families while they get themselves ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives. Haven Church has agreed to help them with groceries and warm meals during the week of October 20-26th.
Can you help by providing groceries for breakfast OR a warm meal that will be served at 5:30pm?
End of the Year - Action City Party
We are excited to close out our Wednesday night programming by enjoying an evening at Action City. Join us for pizza & soda as we get our energy out on the trampolines. All children and families from Haven Church are invited to attend. (4K-High School)

Cost: $15 (bring money to Action City)

7th Grade Boys - Mission Project (Beacon House)
Haven Church loves serving others in the Eau Claire community! The 7th grade boys have chosen to support the non-profit Beacon House.
Beacon House helps families by providing a short-term place to stay and a warm meal. They are able to house 4-6 families (20 people) while they get themselves ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives. The 7th grade boys would like to provide these families with a warm meal this Saturday, April 27th.
Can you help by providing groceries for a warm meal (enough for 20 people) that will be served by the 7th grade boys at 5:30pm?
The meals should be brought to Beacon House (309 E. Lake St.) during the afternoon leading up to the meal (noon-5pm). The meal will be served at 5:30pm, their staff can reheat it if needed. Please call the BEACON HOUSE (715-834-4357) and let them know when you are coming.

Palm Sunday
Join us as we celebrate the start of Holy Week by raising our palm branches! Palm branches will be available as we shout “Hosanna” to the King!
The children of Haven Church will be invited to parade into the worship area while joining the congregation in song. You are invited to practice and play this song around your children so that they can sing along! Children will also be practicing this song in Sunday School as well.
6th Grade Girls Mission Project
The 6th grade girls of Haven Church are excited to plan a way to help Haven Church’s missionaries in Papua New Guinea. The Morris family has been living in Papua New Guinea for about one year now. They took a leap of faith and left the comforts of the United States to pursue a life as medical missionaries.
They have discovered that supplies that are common for us in the United States can be very hard to come by there. Simple items such as baby formula can be very difficult to find in the remote areas of Papua New Guinea that they are working in.
The shipping cost for us to send items to them would be astronomical compared to the price of purchasing these items nearby. The sixth grade girls have interacted with the Morris family and would like to raise money for them to purchase these supplies.
Would you consider donating money towards this cause?
If so, please bring cash/check to Haven Church (re: Morris Family) to donate.
The girls will be holding this fundraiser from March 10th through April 7th.

Ash Wednesday Worship Service
Join us on Wednesday, February 14th for our Ash Wednesday worship service held at 6pm.
-Nursery will be available during the worship.
-No meal will be provided.
-Sunday School or Wednesday night programming won’t be available.
-All Middle and High School students should plan on attending.
-Message and Imposition of Ashes will take place.
Hygiene Drive (8th Grade Boys - Mission Project)
Please help our 8th grade boys with their Mission Project! Their goal is to fill a box with Hygiene items for individuals in need in Eau Claire. They are partnering with the Salvation Army and The Family Radio Network from Feb. 11th through March 3rd to collect hygiene items.

Voter's Meeting
Do you want to know what next year is going to entail? Are you interested in hearing more about the financial side of the Builder’s for Christ process? Mission Message from Maggie
"Come hear testimonies of God's goodness and faithfulness in places around the world"
When Haven Church was just getting started, Maggie Prokosch was very influential in the lives of the students who attended. She served as a Sunday School teacher; Middle School Small Group leader; and High School volunteer.
In 2022, Maggie was given an amazing chance to serve on a mission trip that would last a year and travel to many countries around the world. We are excited to hear of how God used her during this time! Please stick around after worship this weekend and hear about her journey!

Select the age and gender of the child you want to receive this item.
Fill it with school supplies, “a WOW item”, hygiene items, household needs, clothing, or whatever you desire.
Write a handwritten note or provide a picture.
Provide $10 online or inside the box for shipping.
Attach a label to the outside of the box.
Decide if you’d like like to register your box online in order to track where it is delivered to.
Pray for your box and then child who will receive it!
