Would you like to get involved with this summer's building project? You don't have to be a contractor to lend a helping hand. Consider joining our building project's set-up, clean-up, and security teams.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST PRINT OUT AND BRING THE VOLUNTEER RELEASE FORM WITH YOU.

Can you help during the week of July 29th - August 4th? This is a week where there will be no out of town volunteers. We will need all hands on deck! Sign up below.

KITCHEN SITE CLEANUP

  • Wash, dry, and put away cooking pans, silverware, etc.

  • Wipe down countertops, ovens, tables chairs, coolers in kitchen and tent.

  • Empty trash

  • Sweep and mop floor.

  • Check to make sure tool trailer is locked.

  • Take home all dirty dish towels and aprons wash/dry and return next day.

 BUILD SITE CLEANUP

  • Unplug power cords.

  • Air hoses should be wound up and placed in proper container located alongside the tool trailer.

  • Sort and stack usable lumber which is anything greater than 12”. (Anything smaller can be placed in appropriate large blue containers.).

  • Blue containers more than ½ full should be dumped in wooden bin east of the tool trailer so it can be removed in AM.

  • Blow, sweep and clean the construction space.

  • Plug in green and yellow lifts around the slab if not already plugged in.

  •  If Raining: collect and stack wood and squeegee slab if possible.

SITE SAFETY

Someone will be on the site 24/7 during the time materials arrive on the site the first of May until the last of the materials stored on the ground are used and the new building can be locked. This is expected to be mid-August. The watchman will make walking rounds through the site and will be always awake. If unusual activity is observed, the watchman will call 911. Watchmen WILL NOT confront unauthorized visitors.
